Your gut is always busy, digesting your food and defending you from all sorts of invaders, but you can’t see what’s happening, so how do scientists know how it all works? Scientists do lots of experiments to figure out just how your gut works and now you can try out some of these as well! Find out how infections spread, how much your skin weighs or watch a fungus eat!
These are experiments you can do at home or in school. Remember to always ask an adult before you start an experiment.
Why not send a report of what you have done to the scientists at the APC, or maybe a picture or drawing?
