Your White Blood Cells

White blood cells defend your body against bad microbes - like Pat O’Gen!  White blood cells are sometimes called Leukocytes (like our friend Luke O’Cyte).  There are lots of different types of leukocytes and they each have different jobs.  They all work together as part of your immune system to find and destroy bad microbes and fight infection.  Leukocytes use your blood to go wherever your body needs them.
