Your Immune Response

Your immune response is what happens when your body recognises and destroys bad microbes.  You meet many microbes every day.  Some, like those in your gut, keep you healthy.  Others are not so good and can make you sick.

Your immune response is very clever and learns every time it meets a new microbe.  If a bad microbe has made you sick before, your immune system is already prepared and waiting if it comes back!
