Microbes are everywhere and they eat and breathe, just like you, to survive.  They are too small for you to see them do anything but now you can do experiments to show that really, they do lots!  Watch a fungus eat dinner or produce gas, or make your own yoghurt using bacteria!  These are experiments you can do at home or in school.  Remember to always ask an adult before you start an experiment.

Why not send a report of what you have done to the scientists at the APC, or maybe a picture or drawing?
