Your Lungs

Your lungs do the most amazing job!  They are one of the biggest organs in your body and work very hard.  When you breathe in, your lungs take oxygen from the air you breathe and give it to the blood that goes to your heart.  This oxygen then travels in your blood to where it is needed, to the cells in the rest of your body!  Waste products, like carbon dioxide, leave your body when you breathe out.

Breathe deeply and click on Find Out More for information on your amazing lungs!
